Lost In Transition, 2019

Lost In Transition is a collaborative project by Ines Delgado Rusli, Daan Jensen, Jung Ghim, Hannah Mulqueen, Mrinalini Singha and Leonardo Scarin.

The project touches upon the theme of the familiar and unfamiliar; void, estrangement and intuition. A shared ’space’ for these topics is a labyrinth; A maze without guidance. The hinge of the door is designed such that it rotates back to its orthogonal position when one moves to the next void. In every square, the visual remains the same. The only changes in the environment are the geographical location and direction that the one is facing. This lack of guidance heightens the viewer’s bodily awareness, encouraging them to keep track of every moves they have made to direct their own way through the labyrinth.
